Custom Concession & Food Trailer Builders

THERE IS NO FABRICATION WE CAN’T DO!

Custom Food Trailers Built for Your Success

Looking for a concession trailer for sale that's built around your menu? Titan Trucks designs and builds custom concession trailers and food trailers in our Columbus, Ohio shop and delivers them nationwide. Every food truck trailer we build is a fully equipped commercial kitchen, made to order, code ready and DOT compliant.

We've been building food trucks and concession trailers since 2014. Most of our trailer builds run $46,000 to $52,000 for a finished, working kitchen, about $12,000 less than a food truck with a similar setup.

Concession Trailers for Sale, Built to Order

We don't keep concession trailers sitting on a lot. Every trailer is a custom build, laid out around your equipment and the way your crew works. Here's what to expect:

  • Typical price: $46,000 to $52,000 for a finished kitchen
  • Sizes: 14 feet and up, in two-foot increments
  • Axles: double axle standard, triple axle available
  • Nose style: V-nose or flat-nose
  • Towing weight: about 5,500 pounds fully equipped
  • Build time: 8 to 9 weeks from contract to pickup
  • Built in the USA: fabricated in Columbus, Ohio and delivered nationwide
  • Inspection-ready: built to meet health and fire department requirements before it leaves the shop

Concession Trailer or Food Truck?

A concession trailer and a food truck can hold the same kitchen. The differences are cost and how you get around.

  • Cost: a trailer typically runs $46,000 to $52,000, compared with $65,000 to $67,000 for a truck with a similar setup.
  • Getting around: a truck is one vehicle you park and open. A trailer needs a truck or SUV to tow it.
  • Flexibility: you can unhitch a trailer at an event and use your tow vehicle for supply runs.

If you'd rather drive your kitchen, see our custom food trucks.

Concession Trailer Sizes: 14 Feet and Up

Our custom concession trailers start at 14 feet and are built in two-foot increments: 16, 18, 20 feet and up. Anything shorter than 14 feet doesn't leave enough room for a working commercial kitchen.

The right length depends on your menu. We start with your equipment list, plan where each piece goes, and size the trailer around that layout so your crew has room to work.

Axle and Nose Options

Double or Triple Axle

A double axle is standard and works for most concession trailers. If your kitchen carries heavier equipment or you want more stability on the road, we can upgrade you to a triple axle for better weight distribution.

V-Nose or Flat-Nose

A V-nose trailer has an angled, wedge-shaped front. A flat-nose trailer has a straight front wall. Both work equally well, so the choice comes down to the look you prefer.

Towing Weight: What You Need to Pull a Food Truck Trailer

A fully equipped Titan food trailer typically weighs about 5,500 pounds. Many half-ton pickups, such as a properly equipped Ford F-150, are rated to tow around 10,000 pounds, so most owners can tow their trailer with a vehicle they already have. Check your vehicle's towing rating and hitch before pickup day.

Every trailer we build is DOT compliant, so you can tow it legally on highways anywhere in the United States.

How Much Does a Concession Trailer Cost?

Most Titan concession and food trailers cost $46,000 to $52,000. That price is for a finished, working kitchen, not a shell you still have to outfit. Where your build falls in that range depends on:

  • Kitchen equipment: the biggest swing in price. A pizza trailer and a coffee trailer need very different ovens, refrigeration and prep space.
  • Length and layout: a longer trailer holds more equipment and more people, and takes more materials and labor.
  • Plumbing, gas and electrical: sinks, outlets, propane and gas lines are matched to what you cook.
  • Finishes and extras: counters, shelving, serving windows, doors, exterior LED lighting and outdoor TVs.
  • Local codes: fire suppression is required in Ohio and adds around $4,000. Health permit and fire code items add about $400.

Trailers don’t include a wrap or a generator. Most owners buy those separately, but we can add both to your quote.

When you compare quotes, check where the trailer is built and what equipment is inside. Our trailers are built in the United States, and a lower price often means lower-grade cooking equipment. Concession Trailer FAQs

Do you have concession trailers for sale?

We don’t keep inventory on a lot. Every Titan concession trailer is custom-built to order, so you get a layout designed for your menu instead of a standard package.

What should I budget for besides the trailer?

Plan for a wrap and branding, a generator, your permits and your first food order. We can add the wrap and generator to your quote if you’d like.

Can you build out a trailer I already own?

Yes. We can customize a trailer you provide, and we also offer food truck and trailer repair and remodeling. We don’t convert school buses or RVs.

Can you help with permits?

Yes. Every trailer is built to pass health and fire inspections, and we’ll guide you through your health department’s requirements. Permit applications need your business information, so you’ll submit them yourself.

How do I get a quote?
